I have read many blogs about choosing a Bible verse to be your verse for the year. One that you will memorize, read daily, and live by. That is a great idea. Something to focus on in prayer and in how you live - by His Word. So, did you choose a verse? Will you share it and maybe even tell us why that was your choice? I have not chosen a verse this year. Instead, I am searching for a word. One word. I have thought about it, I have prayed for a word, I even thought I had one - then I forgot it!! Lol! I have a direction I want my life to go - yes, the direction IS toward Christ. I do want to get closer to Him, be more like Him in action and deed. I want my heart to be like His heart. Because I have noticed once in awhile that my heart is hard toward another instead of loving and forgiving. I have not found the one word I plan to focus on this year.
